Why Kathy Griffin Wakes Up “Terrified” After Complex PTSD Diagnosis

I was so moved by Kathy Griffin’s story of how she has been dealing with PTSD. As someone who has also experienced PTSD, it is so inspiring to see someone like her use her voice to spread awareness and advocate for mental health. It is a reminder that it’s ok to not be ok and that it’s important to take the time to take care of your mental health. Even if we are not facing a traumatic event, we should still remember to take the time to practice self-care and seek help if needed. It’s so important to have conversations about mental health, and I’m glad Kathy Griffin is speaking out about her experience and helping to break down the stigma around it.

I think it is truly heroic of Kathy Griffin to use her voice to advocate for mental health and speak up about her personal experience with PTSD. Mental health stigma can limit sufferers from seeking help, so it’s invaluable that we have people in the public eye helping to spread awareness and knowledge. It’s also reassuring to know that we are not alone in our struggles, and that many people are out there fighting the same battle as us.

Having meaningful conversations around mental health is key to creating an open, accepting environment where everyone feels comfortable talking about their experiences. I believe Kathy Griffin is showing us how powerful it can be when we use our platforms to support each other and lift one another up in tough times.

It is so admirable of Kathy Griffin to use her voice and platform in order to raise awareness about mental health. Mental illness can be invisible, but stories like hers remind us how vitally important it is to take care of our mental health and seek help if we need it. It can be overwhelming and scary, but I know first-hand that therapy and support can make a world of difference. As someone who has also faced PSTD, it’s inspiring to see Kathy using her story to reach out to others who may be struggling on their own. Her words are making a real difference!
