As an 18-year-old man, I’ve been struggling to understand my obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and how it affects my daily life. It’s been a long and confusing road, but I’ve started to come to terms with the fact that my thoughts and actions are dictated by this condition. Through therapy and support from loved ones, I’ve learned that OCD doesn’t define me, and that seeking help is not a sign of weakness. I’ve also realized that there are others out there like me, and it’s okay to reach out for support. I’m starting to take small steps towards managing my symptoms and finding peace within myself. I know this isn’t an easy road, but I believe that with the right tools and mindset, I can overcome the challenges that come with OCD and live a fulfilling life.
