The Power of Affirmations for Easing Anxiety

As a 39-year-old woman who has struggled with anxiety for many years, I have found that using affirmations has been incredibly helpful in managing my symptoms. When I feel overwhelmed or consumed by worry, repeating positive affirmations to myself helps to calm my mind and bring me back to the present moment. Affirmations like ‘I am strong and capable’ or ‘I choose peace over anxiety’ have become my go-to phrases during moments of distress. While affirmations may not make my anxiety disappear completely, they have certainly made a positive impact on my overall well-being.
