Taking a break from emotional stress

Lately I’ve been feeling a lot of emotional stress and it’s really taking a toll on me. I know it isn’t healthy to be constantly feeling overwhelmed like this, so I’m making a conscious effort to create space for myself and take some time away from all of this.
I’m starting by limiting my interactions with others and putting boundaries in place when it comes to how much stress I allow myself to be exposed to. This might mean taking breathers during the day or setting aside time where I can just relax and focus on myself.
The goal is to feel stronger both mentally and emotionally, so I won’t allow anything that takes away from that progress. Doing these things will help me become better equipped in dealing with life’s ups-and-downs, so it’s definitely worth making the effort. Here’s to finding balance!
