Some natural tricks i've tried for anxiety

I’m curious about the different ways we can tackle anxiety, especially those that feel more natural or holistic. Over the years, I’ve experimented with a few strategies that I think are worth sharing, and I’d love to hear what others have tried too.

One of the first things I discovered was the power of deep breathing. It sounds so simple, but taking a moment to just breathe deeply can really shift things for me. I remember learning a technique where you inhale for a count of four, hold for four, and then exhale for a count of six. It’s like hitting the reset button on my mind. Have any of you found breathing exercises to be helpful?

Then there’s the whole world of herbal teas. I stumbled upon chamomile and lemon balm, both of which I’ve found to be calming. There’s something so soothing about sipping a warm cup in the evening while winding down. I sometimes pair it with a good book or some light music—do any of you have favorite evening rituals that help ease your mind?

I’ve also tried incorporating more physical activity into my routine. Whether it’s a brisk walk or a short workout at home, moving my body seems to clear away some of that anxious energy.
