Pilots say they're afraid to seek mental health care. The FAA says it's listening

I recently read an article about pilots having to lose their licenses due to mental health treatment. I think this is an absolute travesty. Mental health is not something that anyone should be ashamed of or fear. Everyone should be able to access the help they need without worrying about repercussions. What kind of message does this send to those who may be struggling and need help? It’s a dangerous precedent to set and is not something I’m in favor of. It’s important to prioritize the safety of everyone, but that should not come at the expense of someone’s mental health. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it should be treated as such.
