Overcoming the Urge to Spend

As a 28-year-old man dealing with obsessive spending disorder, I’ve struggled with the constant urge to buy things I don’t need. It’s been a difficult road, but I’ve been taking steps to regain control of my finances and my life. Through therapy and support from loved ones, I’ve been learning to recognize my triggers and developing healthier coping mechanisms. It’s not always easy, but I’m committed to breaking the cycle of excessive spending and finding fulfillment in other areas of my life. I know I’m not alone in this struggle, and I want to encourage others facing similar challenges to seek help and never give up on themselves. Together, we can overcome this obstacle and lead happier, more balanced lives.
