Overcoming the physical impact of PTSD

Dealing with the biological effects of PTSD has been a tough road for me. There are days when the symptoms feel overwhelming, and it’s hard to see a way forward. But I’ve found some hope in therapy and support groups. I’ve learned that taking care of my body is just as important as taking care of my mind. I’ve found relief through mindfulness practices, exercise, and proper nutrition. It’s not easy, and some days are still a struggle, but I am making progress. For anyone else dealing with the physical impact of PTSD, just know that it’s okay to ask for help and to take small steps towards healing. We’re all in this together.
