For years, I struggled in silence with the emotional aftermath of my partner’s period. I felt ashamed and misunderstood, often questioning my own sanity. It wasn’t until I sought help and support from a therapist and online communities that I realized I wasn’t alone in this struggle. Through therapy, I’ve learned coping mechanisms to manage my PTSD symptoms and have found solace in connecting with others who share similar experiences. I encourage anyone else going through this to seek help and know that it’s okay to prioritize your mental health. There is hope and healing beyond the trauma.
