Overcoming Online OCD

As a 48-year-old woman dealing with online obsessive compulsive disorder, I have found that it can be extremely challenging to navigate the digital world while also managing the symptoms of my condition. It’s easy to get caught up in the endless scrolling, checking and rechecking, and the feeling of not being able to switch off. But I want to share with you all that there is hope. Through therapy, support groups, and practicing self-care, I have learned to set boundaries with my online activities and find balance in my life. It’s a daily practice, but it is possible to overcome the grip that OCD can have on your mind, even in the online world. Remember, you are not alone in this struggle, and there are resources and communities out there to help you through it.
