As a 50-year-old woman, I have struggled with food anxiety and overeating for most of my life. It’s been a constant battle, feeling like I can’t control my relationship with food. But I’ve come to realize that I have the power to change this pattern. I’ve found support through therapy and community resources that have helped me understand the root of my anxiety and develop healthy coping strategies. It’s not easy, and there are certainly setbacks, but I am committed to breaking free from this cycle.
