As a 57-year-old man, I’ve struggled with anxiety for many years. It can be tough dealing with the societal expectations of always being strong and stoic, but I’ve learned that it’s okay to ask for help. Finding healthy coping mechanisms, like exercise or meditation, has been a game changer for me. Talking to a therapist has also been incredibly helpful in understanding and managing my anxiety. To all the men out there struggling with anxiety, know that you’re not alone. It’s okay to seek support and take care of your mental health.
