Overcoming Academic Stress at 57

As a 57-year-old man, I never realized how much academic stress could affect my mental health. The pressure to perform well in school and meet deadlines really took a toll on me. But through the support of my family, friends, and seeking guidance from mental health professionals, I’ve been able to find ways to manage and overcome this stress. It’s never too late to prioritize your mental well-being. I’ve learned to take breaks, practice mindfulness, and seek professional help when needed. I want to encourage others in a similar situation to not be afraid to ask for help. Your mental health is important and there are ways to cope with academic stress, no matter your age.
