Caretaker PTSD is something that has impacted my life in ways I never could have imagined. The constant stress, the emotional toll, and the feeling of not being able to escape from the darkness of the past have all taken their toll on me. But I refuse to let it define me. I am taking steps to heal, seeking support from professionals, and finding moments of peace in everyday life. It’s not easy, and there are still bad days, but I am determined to reclaim my happiness and wellbeing. If anyone out there is struggling with caretaker PTSD, know that you are not alone. There is hope, there is help, and there is a way forward. We can overcome this together.
