Navigating stress during the pandemic

It’s no secret that this pandemic has been really tough on us all. We’ve had to adjust to the new normal in so many ways, and it can be incredibly overwhelming and stressful. From working from home while helping children with their schoolwork to maintaining social relationships remotely, the demands of everyday life have become even more difficult.

A few things that have worked for me are taking short breaks throughout my day to take a quick walk or grab a snack and tea. I also like to listen to calming music in the background as I work; it helps keep any worries at bay for a moment. Setting aside some designated time each day for meditation or yoga is another great strategy for dealing with stress levels. And if you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to reach out to friends or family who care about how you’re doing.

Above all, don’t forget that just by getting through the day you are making progress - small steps add up over time and we will eventually reach a better place!

Hey there,

I know how hard these last few months have been - especially for those of us in our late twenties. There are so many changes and adjustments to make that it can be difficult to manage.

I think it’s important to give ourselves a break and allow time for relaxation. When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I like to take a little break during the day and do something calming like listening to music or going for a walk. Yoga or meditation have also really helped me keep my mental health in check when things get tough. I also always make sure to reach out if I need support from friends or family - simply talking through what we’re going through can make all the difference.

At the end of the day, it’s okay if progress seems slow. Every small step we take is important - even if you feel like nothing good is happening right now, just getting through each day is helping us move forward!

Take care!
