Navigating Postnatal Depression

As a 48-year-old man, I never thought I would be dealing with postnatal depression symptoms. It has been a challenging time for me, feeling isolated and unsure of where to turn for support. However, I have come to realize that seeking help is not a sign of weakness, but rather a courageous step towards healing. I have found solace in speaking with a therapist and connecting with other fathers who have experienced similar struggles. It’s important to remember that we are not alone in this battle, and there is always hope for brighter days ahead. I encourage any fathers out there who may be going through the same thing to reach out for help and know that it’s okay to not be okay. Together, we can navigate through this and come out stronger on the other side.
