My mental health and trauma

I have been struggling with my mental health for a while now. Dealing with the trauma I’ve experienced, from hurtful events in the past to difficult current situations, has not been easy and I’m in need of support.

My memory can be particularly troublesome, as these traumatic experiences keep coming back to haunt me no matter what I try to do, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and exhausted trying to cope on my own. It’s too much for me to manage alone.

I find myself becoming increasingly anxious and irritable, my emotions are all over the place far too often, making it challenging to stay on top of things. I feel like there’s always something more that needs doing and can never seem to unravel the knot of stress informing all parts of my life.

However, I am determined to seek out good help so that I can regain some balance back into my life. Seeking mental healthcare is an essential part of processing my traumas and living a healthy life going forward. Facing this challenge is something that demands courage but I know it’s worth putting in the hard work necessary; working towards a better future for myself is my priority right now and I hope for brighter days ahead.
