My mdd journey with treatment

I never expected to experience the depths of depression but, over the last few months, I’ve been struggling with a major depressive disorder. It’s been a difficult journey for me but, through trial and error, I’ve been able to come up with a treatment plan that works for me.

My treatment plan is quite extensive: regular therapy sessions, medication, plenty of rest, and an overall healthy lifestyle change. Beyond that, my support system has also played a crucial role - having people to remind me of my worth during those dark days is invaluable.

Although it can be difficult and exhausting at times, I’m grateful for the progress that I’ve made so far in my journey. Even though it may continue to be a struggle in the future, I have so much more hope now that I’m on the path of recovery.
