My dual diagnosis treatment experience

My experience with dual diagnosis treatment has been incredibly transformative. Learning more about how my mental health and substance use disorder affected each other was eye-opening. It really helped me to understand why I was feeling so stuck in a seemingly endless cycle of hard times.

The therapy aspect of the treatment program gave me a safe place to process my past, present, and future. I felt supported by the therapist and found out things about myself that I never knew before! I’m grateful for all their insight and guidance throughout the whole process.

The medical side of treatment was also key because it allowed me to regulate my mind and body through medication. This gave way to some amazing breakthroughs in how I managed stressful situations in a healthier manner.

Overall my dual diagnosis treatment experience has been invaluable in helping me get my life back on track. It’s taught me things about myself that have drastically improved not only my mental health, but also every area of life!
