My appetite disappeared and i dont know if its anxiety or something physical

My appetite has pretty much disappeared, and I can’t tell whether anxiety is causing it or if something physical is going on. I can still manage small amounts, but food doesn’t sound appealing and I get full quickly. That has me worried, which probably makes the anxiety worse.

I’m trying not to jump to conclusions, but the change feels unusual for me. I’m keeping track of what I eat and drink, and I’ll contact my doctor if it continues or I notice weight loss or other symptoms. Has anyone else had anxiety wipe out their appetite and later found out what was behind it?

Anxiety has done that to me too, especially when my stomach is already tense. I’ll feel full after a few bites, then start worrying about not eating enough, which makes the nausea and tightness worse.

Small, easy foods and drinks were more manageable than trying to sit down to a full meal. Still, the early fullness is worth mentioning to your doctor rather than assuming it’s only anxiety. Have you noticed any weight change, nausea, pain, or changes in your bowel habits?

That stomach tension and then worrying about not eating enough can turn into a pretty nasty loop. I’ve had better luck with small snacks spread out through the day too, instead of forcing a normal meal when I already feel nauseous.

I haven’t noticed major weight loss or pain, but the early fullness is still bothering me. I’m going to keep an eye on it and mention it to my doctor if it keeps happening. The nausea seems worse when I’m already checking every stomach sensation, which probably doesn’t help.
