I think it’s great that Alistair Patrick-Heselton is talking about mental health in football and trying to get the conversation out in the open. Mental health is something that is often overlooked or ignored, and it’s great to see this kind of initiative being taken. I think it’s important for young footballers to be aware of mental health issues and the importance of talking about them in order to help themselves and others. It’s also important for coaches and other staff to be aware of the signs and how to best support the players with any mental health struggles they may have. Hopefully this kind of initiative can help to start making mental health conversations the norm in football.
