When I was first diagnosed with both Adult ADHD and Bipolar, I had no idea what it truly meant for my life. It’s been a long journey of learning how to cope and manage my symptoms, but it doesn’t feel like I’ve ever quite gotten the hang of it. On certain days, I feel overwhelmed by the overwhelming amount of tasks that need to be done or when chaotic thoughts seem to race through my mind and make me so dizzy that I don’t even know where to start. Other days, the opposite happens and I can’t focus on anything or find any interest at all. Understanding why these things happen helps me take better care of myself, but sometimes it feels like an uphill battle. Despite feeling this way, I’m determined to learn how to rise above the challenges that come with living with both adult ADHD and Bipolar so that can live my best life.
