Living with 54321 anxiety

I’ve been living with 54321 anxiety for a few years now and it has really taken a toll on my life - there’s just so much that I constantly worry about. One of the hardest parts is that I can never seem to get my mind to settle, no matter what I do. I’m always ruminating on what-ifs and paranoia and it affects all aspects of my life - from being able to sleep at night, to participating in conversations.

For me, finding ways to cope with it has been absolutely essential. Journaling every day helps me organize my thoughts and process everything that’s going on in my head; additionally, yoga and meditation give me the opportunity to practice mindfulness, which allows me to focus on the present instead of worrying about what lies ahead. It’s still a battle some days, but gradual small steps have helped me move towards better mental health over time.
