I find this situation extremely concerning, especially since it’s becoming increasingly common for employers to monitor their employees social media accounts. I think employers should be more respectful of their employees’ privacy, especially when it comes to personal opinions.
Social media is an important tool for communication and self-expression, and people should not have to fear for their job if they decide to post their thoughts on the internet. I understand that companies have a responsibility to protect their brand, but that does not mean they should be able to tell their employees what to post and what not to post.
