I think the article makes some great points about how to manage our emotions. For me, in my 57 years of life, I have found it helpful to take time for myself and reflect on what I’m feeling without judgement or reaction. Taking the time to really process, understand and sit with my emotions has been a powerful tool in managing them better, understanding why they come up and developing ways to move forward positively. It is also important to remember that our feelings are valid so acknowledging them is an important part of being able to work through them and not let them cause further distress down the line.
