I recently read this article and it really resonated with me. As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder for years, it was an incredible reminder of the power of self-love and self-care. The author’s approach of starving the disorder, instead of herself, was something I hadn’t considered before, but it has already been helping me to focus on my mental and emotional health instead of on my physical appearance and food. This article showed me that it’s possible to take back control of my life and my eating, and I’m grateful for the reminder.
