I recently read this article about “eco-anxiety,” which is a relatively new term to describe the feeling of fear and worry that many of us have in response to the global climate crisis. The article talked about how this anxiety is becoming increasingly prevalent in our society and how it can lead to physical and psychological health issues.
I can definitely relate to this as I have been feeling more and more anxious about the future of the planet. I think it is important to acknowledge that this feeling is valid and that it can be a catalyst for positive change. We need to make sure that we are advocating for the environment and pushing for policies that will reduce our carbon footprint. We all have a responsibility to take action and make a difference.
At the same time, it is important to remember to take care of ourselves and practice self-care. It can be overwhelming to think about the world’s problems, but it is important to find balance and take care of our own mental and physical health.
What do you think about this issue? Do you think eco-anxiety is a valid feeling? How can we make sure that we are taking care of ourselves while also advocating for the environment?
