Healing from Trauma: One Step at a Time

I never thought I would be in a place where I could openly discuss my trauma, but here I am. At 31, I have experienced things that have deeply affected my mental health, and for the longest time, I didn’t know how to cope with it. But thanks to the support of the mental health nonprofit community, I have realized that healing is possible. It’s not easy, and there are good days and bad days, but I am learning to take one step at a time. Therapy, support groups, and self-care have all played a crucial role in my healing process. To anyone out there struggling with their own trauma, it’s okay to seek help and it’s okay to take your time. Healing is possible, and you deserve to find peace and happiness.
