Finding Strength in Overcoming Trauma

As a 36-year-old man who has dealt with the long-term effects of a traumatic birth, I understand the impact it can have on mental health. The journey to healing has been filled with challenges, but I have found strength in seeking out support from professionals and connecting with others who have had similar experiences. I’ve learned that it’s okay to not be okay all the time, and that taking small steps towards self-care and therapy can make a huge difference. I’ve also found solace in activities like meditation and exercise, which have helped me manage anxiety and depression. It’s important to remember that healing isn’t linear, and I’m grateful for the mental health nonprofit for providing a safe space for individuals like me to share our stories and support one another.
