Finding Peace in Treatment

Living with obsessive skin picking disorder has been an ongoing struggle for me. It’s a constant battle between wanting to stop and feeling compelled to continue. But recently, I’ve found some relief through treatment and therapy. I’ve learned coping mechanisms and strategies to help me resist the urge to pick at my skin. It’s not easy, and there are still days when I struggle, but I’m starting to see progress. It’s given me hope and a renewed sense of control over my life. To anyone else dealing with this disorder, I want to encourage you to seek help and know that it is possible to find peace and healing. You are not alone, and there is support available to you.
