I’ve been dealing with dissociative panic attacks for years now, and it’s been such a challenging experience. The feeling of being disconnected from reality and those around me is absolutely terrifying. It’s like I’m trapped in a nightmare and I can’t wake up. But I’ve been working on finding different coping mechanisms to help me through these episodes. Whether it’s grounding techniques, talking to a therapist, or simply taking a moment to breathe deeply, I’ve been able to find moments of peace amidst the chaos. It’s not easy, and there are still bad days, but I’m determined to keep fighting. If anyone else out there is going through something similar, just know that you’re not alone. We can support each other through the darkness and find the light at the end of the tunnel together.
