Finding Peace in Hyperawareness OCD

Living with hyperawareness OCD can feel overwhelming, but I’ve found some strategies that have helped me cope. One thing that has made a big difference for me is mindfulness meditation. Taking time to focus on the present moment has helped me to ground myself and reduce the intensity of my obsessive thoughts. I’ve also found it helpful to practice self-compassion and remind myself that it’s okay to have these thoughts, and that I am not defined by them. Seeking support from a therapist who specializes in OCD has also been incredibly beneficial for me. Remember, you are not alone in this and there are resources available to help you find peace in the midst of hyperawareness OCD.
