Hello everyone, I’m a 25-year-old woman who has been struggling with anorexia for a few years now. I have found that one of the most valuable resources for me has been connecting with others who are going through similar experiences in anorexia support groups. It’s comforting to know that I’m not alone in this journey and that there are others who understand what I’m going through. These support groups have provided me with a safe space to share my thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment, and have also given me the opportunity to learn from others who have been further along in their recovery. I want to encourage anyone who is hesitant to join a support group to give it a try - it has truly made a positive impact on my journey towards recovery. I’m grateful for the support and understanding I have found in these groups, and I hope others can find the same comfort and hope as well.
