As a 48-year-old man who has dedicated my life to being a firefighter, I never thought that I would be grappling with signs of PTSD. The gruesome scenes and traumatic experiences have started to take a toll on my mental health, and I have been struggling to find a way to cope. But through the support of my fellow firefighters and the resources provided by this nonprofit, I am starting to see a glimmer of hope. Knowing that I am not alone in this battle has been incredibly comforting, and I am determined to find the strength to overcome this challenge. I am grateful for the guidance and tools offered by this organization, and I encourage anyone else facing similar struggles to reach out and seek the help they deserve. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and together we can find our way through the darkness.
