Finding Balance in Selective Intake

As a 43-year-old woman dealing with selective intake disorder, I have struggled for years to find a balance in my daily life. It’s been a challenging journey, but I’ve learned to find small victories in each day. Whether it’s trying a new food or simply being able to sit at a table with different smells, I celebrate every small step forward. I’ve also found comfort in connecting with others who understand what I’m going through. Being able to share my experiences and learn from others has been incredibly healing. I’ve also discovered the power of mindfulness and self-compassion in managing my selective intake disorder. It’s not easy, but I’m learning to be gentle with myself and take each day as it comes. I know there will be ups and downs, but I’m committed to finding peace and balance in my life.
