Feeling a bit tangled up in my head about someone

This caught my attention since I’ve been feeling a bit tangled up in my head about someone lately. You know that feeling when you just can’t shake thoughts about a person? It’s like your brain is a spider web, and every time you try to pull away, it just catches you deeper.

I’ve found myself thinking about them at random times, replaying conversations in my mind, analyzing every little thing they say or do. It’s not just a passing crush or a fleeting infatuation; it feels more intense, almost like I’m obsessively trying to figure them out. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?

At first, I thought it was just excitement, but it’s started to feel a bit heavier, like there’s a weight attached to those thoughts. I catch myself daydreaming about scenarios that probably won’t happen, and it leaves me feeling anxious and a little exhausted. It’s strange how someone can occupy so much mental space, right?

I sometimes worry that I’m projecting my own feelings or expectations onto them. Do you think that’s a typical thing? I’m curious if anyone else has had similar experiences navigating these tangled thoughts. It’s a fine line between affection and obsession, and I’m really trying to understand where I fit on that spectrum. I guess I’m just looking for some insight or advice on how to unwind these thoughts without losing sight of myself.

How do you all handle it when someone gets stuck in your head like that? Would love to hear your thoughts!
