I recently had the chance to see the revival of the Depression-era musical starring Santino Fontana off-Broadway, and I was thoroughly impressed. Santino Fontana did an amazing job as the lead, and the whole production was a great homage to the era. I especially liked how they managed to mix elements of the Depression-era with modern sensibilities and technology. The costumes and set design were simply stunning, and the music was incredibly catchy. This show has definitely become one of my favorite musicals of all time. I highly recommend that anyone who has the chance should go and see it - it’s definitely worth the price of admission.
