I’ve come to realize that my relationship with my phone isn’t the healthiest one. Oftentimes I find myself mindlessly scrolling, trying to fill a void inside me, even though deep down I know it doesn’t do me any good. It’s led to me being glued to the device and missing out on life in the present moment.
So lately I’ve been working on bettering my mental health. I’m trying to be more aware of when I’m spending too much time on my phone and actively trying to put an end to those instances. It’s not been easy, especially since my phone is such a big part of my life, but it’s something that needs attending to and giving importance too.
I also make sure to track how much time I’m dedicating towards things like reading, meditating or exercising- activities which can help increase mental wellbeing while also decreasing dependence on digital media. Hopefully this helps me break free from these unhealthy habits and enables me to live in the present moment instead!
