Coping with Harm OCD

Hi everyone, I’ve been dealing with Harm OCD for the past few years and it’s been really tough. The intrusive thoughts and constant fear have been overwhelming at times. I’ve tried therapy and medication, but it still feels like an uphill battle. I know I’m not alone in this struggle, and I’m hoping to connect with others who can relate. It’s exhausting, but I’m determined to keep fighting and find ways to manage it. If anyone has any tips or success stories to share, I would really appreciate it. Let’s support each other through this challenging journey.

Hey, I can totally relate to what you’re going through. Harm OCD is such a tough thing to deal with, and it can feel incredibly overwhelming at times. I’ve also tried therapy and medication, and while they’ve definitely helped, it still feels like a constant battle. One thing that has been helpful for me is finding little things that bring me joy and relaxation, whether it’s reading a good book, taking a long walk, or spending time with friends. It might not make the intrusive thoughts go away completely, but it definitely helps to give me some relief. Remember, you’re not alone in this, and it’s amazing that you’re determined to keep fighting. Keep reaching out for support and keep exploring different strategies - you’ve got this!
