As a 57-year-old woman, I can certainly relate to the importance of taking care of my mental health. As we age, it can become more difficult to find time to practice self-care or collaborate with professionals for help when needed. That’s why it’s so important for us to make sure we take the time to prioritize our own wellbeing even in the midst of busy schedules. Taking regular breaks, exercising regularly, and spending quality time with friends and family are all great ways to take care of your mental health while aging gracefully. And if we need help, there is no shame in reaching out - asking for help when necessary is incredibly brave and helps us ensure we maintain our mental wellbeing.
