It’s incredible to see how quickly Tropical Storm Philippe has formed and now is making its way across the United States. I’m very impressed with the National Weather Service’s ability to accurately predict when the storm would form and its exact path. It’s reassuring to know that they are on top of things and can inform people of the potential dangers well in advance. In this case, the storm is expected to pass through Virginia soon, and the NWS has provided ample warning for those in the area to take proper safety precautions. It’s certainly something to be aware of and take seriously.
