I have been struggling with depression for a while now, and it feels like a heavy weight on my shoulders. It’s hard to open up about it, but I know I need to take the first step towards healing. I’ve recently started seeking help and talking to a therapist, and it’s been surprisingly helpful. I’ve also started journaling and practicing mindfulness, and I can feel a little bit of light coming back into my life. I know it’s a long road ahead, but I’m determined to take control of my happiness and not let depression define me. I want to encourage anyone else going through this to take that first step and seek help. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it to start on the path to feeling better.
