Overcoming the Trauma of Involuntary Hospitalization

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with PTSD from involuntary hospitalization. It’s been a long and difficult road, but I’ve come a long way in my healing process. I’ve found that seeking therapy and support from others who have gone through similar experiences has been extremely helpful. It’s important to remember that it’s okay to seek help and that healing is possible. It’s not an easy journey, but with time and support, it does get better. I’ve also found that practicing self-care and mindfulness techniques has been beneficial for managing my symptoms. If you’re going through something similar, please know that you’re not alone. There is hope and healing on the other side of this. Keep fighting, and remember to be gentle with yourself as you navigate through this process.
