As a 51-year-old woman dealing with PTSD triggers and flashbacks, I want to share with you all that it is possible to overcome them. It’s not easy, and it takes time, but with the right support and coping strategies, it can be done. Finding a therapist who specializes in trauma has been incredibly helpful for me. Additionally, practicing mindfulness, deep breathing, and grounding techniques has made a significant difference in managing my triggers. Surrounding myself with understanding and supportive loved ones has also been crucial in my healing process.
