Overcoming Presentation Anxiety in Midlife

As a 58-year-old man, I have been dealing with presentation anxiety for a long time. It has been a constant struggle, but I am determined to overcome it. I have been seeking professional help and working on techniques to manage my anxiety. One thing that has really helped me is practicing deep breathing exercises and positive affirmations before speaking in public. I have also found support in joining a local speaking club where I can gradually build my confidence. While it’s not easy, I am starting to see small improvements and I am proud of the progress I have made. I want to encourage anyone else facing similar challenges to seek help and not give up. It’s never too late to work on improving our mental health.
