Overcoming Post Traumatic Response

It’s been a tough road, but I’ve made progress in dealing with my post traumatic response. There have been days when it felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders, but I’ve learned to lean on my support system and seek professional help. It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to ask for help. I’ve found that therapy, exercise, and mindfulness practices have been particularly helpful for me. It’s a daily battle, but I’ve found ways to cope and find moments of peace. For anyone else going through a similar struggle, I want to assure you that it does get better. Don’t give up hope, and don’t be afraid to seek help. You are not alone in this journey.
