Overcoming High Anxiety at 51

Dealing with high anxiety at this age has been incredibly challenging, but I refuse to let it define me. I’ve found tremendous support in therapy and medication, and I’m slowly learning to manage my anxiety in healthier ways. I’ve also found solace in mindfulness practices and meditation, which have given me a sense of peace and control. It’s not easy, and there are definitely rough patches, but I’m determined to keep fighting. I’ve learned to prioritize self-care and set boundaries, and I’ve surrounded myself with a strong support system. To anyone else struggling with high anxiety at this age, know that you are not alone and that there is hope for a brighter future.
