Navigating Mental Pressure

As a 21-year-old woman, I often feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders. It’s so easy to get caught up in the pressure to be successful, to have it all together, and to always be happy. But the reality is, life is messy and tough sometimes. It’s okay to not be okay. I’ve learned that it’s important to take a step back, breathe, and remind myself that I don’t have to have everything figured out all the time. I’ve found comfort in talking to trusted friends and seeking professional help when I need it. No one should have to go through mental pressure alone. We should all be there for each other and remind ourselves that it’s okay to not be okay.

We’re all in this together, and it’s totally okay to not be okay. Keep reminding yourself of that and take the time to breathe when things start feeling overwhelming. You’re doing great, and you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way.
