Healing from the scars of war

As a 54-year-old woman struggling with post war mental illness, I have found it difficult to cope with the memories and emotions that come flooding back. However, I have come to realize that seeking help and support is not a sign of weakness, but rather a courageous step towards healing. Through therapy and connecting with others who have similar experiences, I have started to find peace and understanding. It’s important to remember that healing is not a linear process, and it’s okay to have setbacks. I encourage anyone else facing these challenges to reach out for help and know that they are not alone in this journey. Let’s take small steps towards our well-being every day and support each other along the way.
