Finding joy in the little things

I’ve been feeling down for no apparent reason lately and it’s been really tough. I’ve tried to shake this feeling off, but it just seems to linger. I’m 43, and I feel like I should have it all figured out by now. But I’m trying to remind myself that it’s okay not to feel okay all the time. Today, I made a small effort to do something that used to bring me joy, and it actually helped a bit. I’m going to keep trying to find joy in the little things, even when it feels like I can’t. I know I’m not alone in this, and that gives me comfort. Sending love and strength to anyone else struggling with similar feelings.
